Welcome to the Gardeners Club

There are a number of features already posted on your Gardeners Club site. For instance, the Club Shop where we will bring you items and services arranged by the Gardeners Club at special prices exclusive to Club members. Famous brands from leading manufacturers - proven winners - offers not available elsewhere. We'll bring you interesting and unusual things you may not normally get to hear about. As our membership grows so will our buying power to bring you even better deals and in due course, with your help, we may even be able to offer our own "CLUB" label range on a limited number of basic but vital garden products.

Have a giggle at the
Club Stories - but, be warned, some of these jokes were rejected by the Christmas cracker makers! If you've got a funny story or an amusing anecdote about gardening let the rest of us suffer it.

Know anyone you wants to buy an old Mountfield? Got one for sale? Then the
Club Classified where you can bring and buy your second hand garden things - could be right up you garden path. It works just like the classified section in the local newspapers only on a much bigger scale - better still, at the moment it is totally free. Full details can be found on that page.

We have linked up with '
The Horticulture Trades Association' (HTA) where you can search the HTA directories on a national and local basis for details on garden centres, nurseries, landscapers, retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers. See Garden Centres and Landscapers in the main site.

We also have a link with the '
National Garden Scheme' (NGS) with access to its famous 'Yellow Book' to provide the NGS Garden Finder service - the definitive guide to private gardens which open to the public.

When it comes to practical help, you'll find plenty of advice in our regular
Tips and Hints and what to do this month in our the Garden Shed section. These useful features are edited by your own Club expert - Michael Barratt - who when it comes to real spade-work, Michael has been there, done it, and, is still doing it! He's got muddy hands as well as green fingers.

If you agree with what our working gardener says, then fine. If not, or if you know better, then let the rest of us know. And on the subject of debate may we refer you to
Q & A's where your queries and most often asked questions and answers can be found. We have linked with 'The National Gardening Association' in the U.S.A where you can have access to their Q & A library of more than 35,000 sets of gardening queries. If that doesn't answer your question and another member can't answer a problem, or if we fail, we'll find someone who can.

You can find out much more detail about the Club features on each of the relevant section pages.
