I
have a lot of caterpillars on my broccolli. How can I get rid
of them ? Also when harvested how can I be sure that the caterpillars
are all gone ?

From Margaret, UK
Try using Bug Clear - a bug spray to control greenfly, caterpillars,
ants and other bugs on flowers, fruit and vegetables. It is available
at Homebase and most garden centres.

All our plants are being eaten by green catepillars.
Can you give any advice on how to get rid of them effectively without
killing off our plants? I would appreciate your advice.

Non chemical methods of control can be used against some caterpillars,
especially when they occur in small numbers on a few plants. The
simplest and most effective method is to examine plants regularly
and crush eggs and caterpillars when you see them (this may seem
cruel but it is a lot more harm than insecticides).
