Welcome to the Gardeners Club

July 2003

The winners of this month's Garden Of The Month title are Bill and Margaret Dutson from Lancashire.

When Bill and Margaret moved into the house, the garden was totally uncultivated and was almost like a builders yard. The garden is approximately 40'-00'' x 80'-00''. The garden has now been transformed from a barren patch of land into a place of solitude and beauty.

Bill and Margaret hope to carry out a total transformation of the garden pond area at the back end of this growing season.

The garden is used primarily as a place to escape the general humdrum of daily life and many friends and relatives come to admire the beauty of nature.

The garden has not been created around any one particular theme or focal point - it is a garden of varied interests. They do not have leaning towards one particular plant, but instead try to fit as much colour in as possible.

If you think your garden could be up for next month's title, use the information on the main 'Garden Of The Month' page below to let us know all about it.
