Welcome to the Gardeners Club

April 2003

The winners of this month's Garden Of The Month title are Frank and Lorraine Abbott from Luton, Bedfordshire.

The garden is quite small but unusual in shape - they bought a small piece of land at the bottom of their neighbour's garden which gives it an "L" shape.

The bottom of the garden is paved, with the greenhouse and sheds, and the top part near the house is decked and gravelled.

The Abbotts have lived in this house for about 30 years and Lorraine does all the gardening, which she took up seriously 4 or 5 years ago. She particularly likes Azaelias,Rhododenrons and Japanese Maples which make up a large part of the garden. They also have a small pond with various fish including Koi, Orf, Ghost Carp and many frogs.

If you think your garden could be up for next month's title, use the information on the main 'Garden Of The Month' page below to let us know all about it.
